On Thursday, November 4th, Walker Systems Support partnered with SonicWall to present a seminar: Risk “Raising Your Information Security Knowledge”. This invitation only event took place at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse in West Hartford. Walker’s Security expert, Scot Smailes, CISSP presented to a full house and outlined for participants the most effective ways to protect their information. Also discussed were: what are the greatest threats to your data, the hidden dangers of social networking sites, how you can defend against data loss and how government data privacy laws can impact your business. Attendees heard some amazing true stories which illustrated real data security threats and offered some real solutions.
