Sundown Policy To maximize the satisfaction of our partners, customers, and employees, we have adopted the following Sundown Policy: All inquiries are responded to by the end of the business day. In cases where the resolution can not be achieved the same business day, a follow-up phone call will take place to let the person know where things stand and an expected timeline of the outcome. This makes good on our promise to provide the highest quality service within our grasp, and prevents concerns that a ball might be dropped. It also leaves everyone feeling confident all matters will be treated with respect and the urgency that they require. This step commits Walker to a code of conduct that is different than other for profit businesses. The change to becoming a Stakeholder Business means that Walker is committed to conducting business for the benefit of all rather than simply its shareholders. While our vision and values already reflect this commitment, by taking this step to formalize our approach we ensure that this vision and our values continue to guide us as we grow, and even as ownership changes. Tech Tips - Earning Customer Trust Online Building customer trust online is a combination of good branding, good design, good content, and flawless functionality. A website needs all four components to be successful in creating a climate of trust that encourages sales. Branding is about finding a specific idea that you stand for, finding a way to own that idea in a credible way, and ultimately building a total trust that you will always deliver. This was more than just a fundraising event, the MS Walk brought families together, co-workers united for a greater good, and people gained a better understanding of what MS is and how close the National Multiple Sclerosis is to finding a cure for it. The event created a hope-filled and fun atmosphere for everyone affected by MS while generating a greater awareness of multiple sclerosis to the public. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research than any other private organization. In additional to supporting studies which hope to reveal the cause and course of the disease, the National MS Society also provides much needed education, programs, and services to everyone who is affected by MS, including the diagnosed, their friends and families, and healthcare professionals who work with them. Walker employees were proud to walk for such a great cause, which helps so many people each day.
